Shifting

I run my games in auto rather than manual cause it's so much easier
for me. In the drag races I must use manual and that's OK but I can't
figure out the first shift. While I'm on the line revving up and shift
to first gear invariably the game tells me I did a bad
shift...sometimes I get it right but I don't know why. This has been a
problem for NFSU, NFSU2 and NFSMW

Thanks,

Sam

If you're using an analog controller, you have to hold the rpms
so that the tach needed changes color in these games. If you're
using a pad or keyboard, you have to have lucky timing.

Note the neeedle goes blue at the start of this run for Most Wanted:

Needle goes green at the start of this drag run at Bayview
by Krysta (pardon the music if you don't like it).

Thanks for the tips! Those files are too big for my 26.4 dial-up but I
appreciate the links.
