Like the NFS games before it, I don't enjoy the money factor so I downloaded
a few trainers, a +14, a +5 and a money-only trainer. However, none of these
work.

I'm running Pro Street v1.0 out the box.

Any suggestions as to why they won't work or where to find one that
definitely will work, will be appreciated.

unlockallthings, but this also unlocks the map. You have to enter
and exit a race day, or exit and reenter career mode for the 4 cars
to show up.

Hi Jeff, I just saw on your site the superb run in nevada of your 911 turbo,
could you share the settings you're using?
You're car seems to run on rails like a train :-)
And I keep crashing like crazy :-(

VGSpeedPro has a better setup, but he won't divulge it. I posted my setups
at ea forums. This is the setup I use for 911 Turbo speed mode.

stage 4 911 Turbo setup

suspension

shocks and springs all the way right (stiff)
sway bars all the way left (soft)
ride height all the way right (high)
tire pressures all the way right (high)
steering all the way right (stiff)

engine
both boost values high
cam timing doesn't work on PC (or lowers power)

drivetrain - default

brakes - default

Thanks Jeff, I found the games protection was preventing my rich uncle from
sending me the money. A no-DVD file cured that. :)

Man, this game is the toughest NFS ever. I've tried the Nevada speed
challenges and totalled about 50 cars so far, only seeing the finish line
once for a paltry 4th place. Just can't keep them under control.

Is tuning in Pro Street similar to Porsche Unleashed where you can have
universal settings for most/all cars, or does each car have to have unique
settings? Where can I see/get such settings?

Try the 911 Turbo, it won't go airborne over the hills.

Drag mode has the most varied setups for each car. The other modes don't
have as much car variation.

There are setups posted at
