I have the issue that NFS MW runs normally pretty fine but sometimes
stops for half a second or a second during normal game play. Needless
to say that normally screws up my race. It happens between every few
seconds to once a minute, sometimes seemingly random sometimes at the
same position.
I have absolutely no idea how to solve that.
My system:
Asus AN8 SLI-Premium
AMD 64 4600 (yes, i make sure it runs only on one core)
2 GB Ram
NVidia GeFore 7800 GTX
CreativeLabs Soundblaster X-Fi Music
Samsung 250GB SP2504C (SATA II)
I was expecting a pretty good framerate and no problems on switching
to this system (all drivers in the newest version, WinXP plus all
updates done), however NFS MW is the on exception to the rule. All
other games i use run flawless in highest graphic setting. It is not
an overheating problem as the CPU reaches only around ~45° C and the
graphics adapter only around 50° C.
Would appreciate any pointer on how to make NFS MW a better game for
me.
