Hi all,
Just bought a new PC - Gateway Pentium D, 2.8 GHz, with 1 gig ram. It was
about time I upgraded from the Dell P2 400.
Anyway, want to get a video card - without completely blowing the bank on
it, but willing to spend what is necessary to run NFS-MW comfortably. I am
willing to listen to any and all recommendations.
Thanks in advance.

If your system has a PCI-E slot, go for a 6800GS. Decent performance at a
reasonable price from everything I've read. I don't have this card myself
(I have a 9800 Pro AGP) but benchmarks show that the 6800GS offers a lot of
bang for the buck. FWIW, my 9800 Pro runs Most Wanted reasonably well at
1024x768 and the 6800GS would blow my video card out of the water.
