Do you have to change your car setup for the type of race you're about to
enter yourself or is it automatic?

Each type of race uses a seperate car, even though it may be the
same model.

Thanks for the reply. So that means I don't have to switch car setups
manually, right?

Yes. Note that in career mode, each car gets a seperate setup for each
mode. I'm not sure about "my cars". "Online" uses a seperate car for
each mode. Circuit and sprint may share the same mode though, I don't
remember.

I'm in the same boat. I've done every event in Stage 2 but don't know
what's next and I don't understand your solution. Can you help me,
please?

This doesn't sound like a setup question. In Underground 2, you have to do visual upgrades to your car to unlock dvd's.
Once the dvd's are unlocked, you run them and this unlocks the next area.

I don't know how other than to say I goofed but I posted to the wrong
thread. Using Agent it's the post by Mark C just before this one.
Sorry.

I have two DVD covers as far as I can tell yet the 3rd stage remains
unavailable. Do I need to do something else. I don't know what else to
do to my car it looks as gaudy as hell.

Thanks

You have to upgrade your visual rating to 6 stars to unlock all the dvds needed to unlock stage 3. Next you have to
boost visual rating to 10 stars.
Sometimes people get stage 3 and stage 4 mixed up.
