I'm getting a little tired of running out of cash and having to keep
upgrading my cars 1 or 2 bits at a time, too much reality, just like real
life. ;)

I would rather play this game as the 'rich, spoiled kid from the right side
of the tracks'. Is there a money cheat that will keep me rolling in it?

There are money/part trainers available, if you don't want to "play by
the book".

Aha, found a neat little trainer that gives me emergency pocket money when I
ask for it, sort of like asking daddy. Cuts down on the x-town trips for
those couple of bits I didn't have enough money for, but keeps prizemoney
relevant. Enjoying the game more now without the 'you don't have enough for
this gizmo' irritation.

Part of what I didn't enjoy about NFSU (1) was that I didn't get to enjoy
all the cars. To be successful I had to pick an uber-car i.e. the Miata and
drive it all the way through. In NFSU2 I want to drive more cars and if they
are duds e.g. the Tiburon, trade them in. Without a "rich daddy" the trade
in process is very painful seeing you don't get value for value on your
trade in i.e. lose all the money you spent on the car being traded in.

I'm thoroughly enjoying trading a car in, loading "rich daddy" into the
passenger seat and heading for the body/performance/paint/special parts
shops in ONE trip and getting back to the racing. The money trainer has
added gr8 value to the game IMHO.

I agree. I've played the game (nfsu2) once through without any cheats
and I earned money roughly enough for two fully loaded cars (and a bit
on top), which is propably realistic, but not fun. And I don't think
anyone plays this game with realism in mind.

And using a money cheat enhances the fun much further when you can
switch to a new car without having to count your money. I also think it
is close to a bug in the game, that you do not get back your money when
trading a tricked out ride for a stock ride. Atleast some percentage
value of parts bought should be refundable.

I just used the Corolla and the Navigator for career mode.

Stage 1 and the early part of stage 2 are the only places
where money is an issue. While in Rachels, car, you can
do 3 outruns, 3 races (one of these is hidden), and find
about 26 pickups for cash.
