Problem: Can't enter any shop in N4S-Most Wanted

I have this serious problem: I have an original game, but apparently there's
no way to enter a shop or engage an event (it's the same button, I guess).
I tried to re-map the keyboard settings and the pad settings, but nothing
has changed.
Tried to re-install the whole game, but nothing has changed as well...
I defeated #15 in BlackList with my original Fiat Punto, but I guess there's
much to do on that car...

Please, help this desperate driver...

What key are you using, usually the <enter> key will work.
If not, try mapping a controller button for "action".
